March 24, 2023 – Craft therapy: Positive Potato

I saw a positive potato that someone crocheted and had to find instructions. I finally found them.

He still needs arms and his uplifting sign but here he is – Positive Potato.

What have you made lately? Was it fun? Did it lift your spirits like my potato friend did for me?

Doodle Challenge Day 11

Today’s doodle mixes pencil and ink on mixed media paper. I shaded the butterfly with a No. 2 pencil. The outlines and lettering were done with a .08 micro liner. The pink background was done with a Dollar Tree gel pen. It is no surprise that I call this doodle Fly Free.

I hope you are all well and enjoying doodling.

Doodle Challenge Day 9

You do not need expensive or special tools to doodle. This doodle is done with a regular No. 2 pencil on a post-it note. It is a 3D twisty heart that I call Love in 3D.

In the past I have been known to doodle on my desk calendar, my arm, and even my pant leg.

Where have you doodled? What simple tools have you used? Share your story.

Doodle Challenge – Day 1

I love to doodle but I go through phases where I don’t doodle for weeks. I’ve decided to challenge myself to a doodle challenge where I create a doodle every day for the month of February. Here is my doodle for February 1, 2022. I call it Feeling Fine.

Come back tomorrow for my next doodle.

Feel free to share your doodles in the comments.
